Community Links Worker Public Engagement
Overview
We are developing a Community Link Worker service that will support patients with social, emotional and practical needs. We’d like to hear from anyone who might use the service about what they think it should look like.
Why your views matter
Link Workers can support individuals with a wide range of social, emotional or practical needs. This can include:
- Providing advice and information on available community activities
- Supporting referrals to foodbanks
- Accompanying service users to organisations/services
- Helping individuals’ deal with issues/problems that are most important to them.
We would like to share more information with you about how the service is developing. To help us get the right model for East Lothian we would like to hear your ideas on:
- The development of the Link Worker service
- What you need from this service
- Future service delivery
