Ways to improve the phoneline
6. Finding Information: How can we best communicate with you about mental health support in East Lothian?
Via a telephone number I can call (the mental health support phoneline).
Via a professional or trusted person that I feel comfortable with (e.g. a person working for a food share/foodbank, a GP or other health professional, libraries, mental health organisation such as Changes/Penumbra, community organisations e.g. The Ridge, Carers Of East Lothian etc).
Via word of mouth (e.g. my friends and family)
Via others that share my experiences and attend groups that support us to manage our mental health challenges.
In paper form, such as leaflets, that I can take home with me.
Via posters on noticeboards in supermarkets, GPs, churches, schools etc.
