Organisations supporting unpaid carers
Overview
East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership publishes a local carers strategy which sets out how we will improve carer support at a local level.
While preparing this strategy, we want to hear from you.
All of us have an important role to play in helping carers identify and access support for themselves and in meaningfully including them in the care and support for the person they care for.
As an organisation offering support to unpaid carers you are essential in ensuring carers voices are heard, valued and supported and carers really feel like equal partners in care.
We have gathered feedback from carers directly and are also seeking your knowledge of how things are for carers, what issues are impacting them and any improvements we might be able to make to carer support locally.
Please use this survey to share your experiences of working with carers directly or in including carers in supporting the person they care for. Thank you.
