East Lothian Community Justice Local Outcome Improvement Plan 2017-20

Overview

The aim of the National Community Justice Strategy is to “deliver a decisive shift in the balance between community and custodial sentences”, imprisoning violent offenders and using evidence based interventions in the community for offenders who might otherwise be given short-term prison sentences. This aim is extended to local Outcome Improvement Plans that are the responsibility of Community Justice partnerships in each Community Planning Partnership.
