Overview

Climate Week Scotland 2017 - East Lothian Events

Taking place from 18-22 September, Climate Week is a Scottish Government campaign to raise awareness of and inspire action on climate change. It aims to highlight the importance of reducing emissions and adapting to a changing climate.

East Lothian Council is hosting two drop in events, under the banner of Climate Week, to consult with local people on how we can adapt to a changing climate. The consultation events will kick-start a series of further events, looking at the key risks and opportunities of climate adaptation. Feedback from the events will inform the development of an East Lothian Climate Adaptation Strategy for the period 2018-28.
