The second SESplan Housing Need and Demand Assessment (HNDA2) was submitted to the Centre of Housing Market Analysis (CHMA) in October 2014. The CHMA advised that the HNDA2 had the potential to be robust and credible subject to addressing nine recommendations. These recommendations were taken into account and an amended version was submitted. A detailed Report will be considered by SESplan Joint Commitee on the 30th March 2015.  

Overview

The Strategic Development Planning Authority for Edinburgh and South East Scotland (SESplan) is seeking opinions on a draft Housing Need and Demand Assessment 2(HNDA2). 

This sets out future estimates of housing need in the SESplan area.  When eventually finalised the evidence will inform options in the Main Issues Report for the second Strategic Development Plan.
