East Lothian Council A199 OAK TREE, HADDINGTON STOPPING UP ORDER 2026

Overview

East Lothian Council intends to make an Order under Section 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to Stop Up and remove a section of grass verge from the public list of roads.

A copy of the proposed Order, Schedule, plans showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can be viewed on the council’s website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk and on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk

These documents are available for inspection for the period from Friday 24th April to Friday 15th May 2026.

Any person may before expiry of the period noted above object to the making of the Order.
