East Lothian Council (Cowpits Road, Whitecraig) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

Overview

East Lothian Council intends to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 3 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce and/or amend enforceable waiting restrictions at Cowpits Road, Whitecraig.

A copy of the proposed Order, Schedule, plans showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can be viewed on the council’s website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk and on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk

These documents are available for inspection for the period from Friday 20th February 2026 to Friday 3rd April 2026.

Any person may before expiry of the period noted above object to the making of the Order.
