Overview

East Lothian Council gives a high priority to road safety and is proposing to introduce traffic calming measures to the residential areas listed below in the form of speed cushions (the number of speed cushions to be installed in each street is given in brackets).

Elphinstone - Durie's Park (11)

Haddington - Princess Mary Road (8)

Musselburgh - Hercus Loan (16), Millhill Lane (10)

Pencaitland - Limekilns (10), Tyne Park (6), Vinefields (14)

Port Seton - Castle Area (18)

Prestonpans - Harlawhill Gardens (8)

Tranent - Balfour Square (9), Brotherston's Way North (8), Kennedy Crescent (6), Mitchell Way (asphalt surface areas only) (4)
