Road Traffic Order - Off-Street Coastal Parking - Notification of Order
Overview
Extensive consultation has already taken place in relation to the introduction of coastal car parking charges. Following this consultation, East Lothian Council reached a decision to introduce such charges. The information that follows relates to the making of the Traffic Regulation Order necessary to bring this into effect.
The East Lothian Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") in exercise of their powers under Sections 1(1) and 2(1), 32, 35 and 101 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act of 1984") Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby gives notice that it has made the following Order that will come into effect on Monday 4th May 2015.
