Overview

East Lothian Council gives notice that it intends to make an Order under 82(2), 83(2) and of paragraph 27 (1) of Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to vary speed limits at the following locations: - A198 Bankton North Roundabout to Meadowmill Roundabout, A198 Meadowmill Roundabout to east of Seton Garage (Tordene), B1361 Meadowmill Roundabout to existing 30mph speed limit at Meadowmill & B6371 Meadowmill Roundabout to existing 40mph speed limit near former Coal Plant.

A copy of the proposed Order, Schedule and plan showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can be viewed at Main Reception, John Muir House Haddington however they are also available on the council’s website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk and on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk

These documents are available for inspection for the period from Thursday 30/9/21 to Friday 22/10/21 during normal office hours.

Any person may before expiry of the period noted above object to the making of the Orders.
