Casual Workers Policy
Overview
The current 2009 policy has been updated to incorporate clarifications regarding its practical application, national changes to teachers conditions service and the pension rights of Local Government Employee Group casual workers. It also outlines the arrangements for Local Government Employee Group who will be eligible for one increment where they can evidence that they have, since appointment in their current casual worker capacity, worked for 46 weeks or more with the Council. The new policy applies to all casual workers including Supply Teachers.
