Community Justice Local Outcome Improvement Plan 2021-24

Closed 16 May 2021

Opened 27 Apr 2021

Overview

Welcome to the second East Lothian Community Justice Local Outcome Improvement Plan. This Plan details our ambitions as a Community Justice Partnership to improve the lives of people wherever they are on the justice pathway - working with children and young people to prevent them entering the justice system, with people who have convictions to help them move away from offending behaviour, with the families of people who have offended and supporting the victims of crime. We want our communities to continue to be safe and this plan sets out how this will be achieved.

Why your views matter

We would like to hear your views on "Our Approach to Smarter Justice - Better Outcomes" and our "Improvement Actions"  which will be delivered by the Community Justice Partnership and the 3 Workstreams:

1. Community Engagement

2. Getting it Right to Reduce Reoffending

3. Early Intervention and Prevention

We are keen to hear from people already involved in community justice.

We want to involve local partnerships and local community groups who are interested in improving outcomes for people involved in community justice.

What happens next

We will amend the Draft Community Justice LOIP 2021-24 to reflect your comments and publish the final version on our Community Justice Webpages
