Forth Estuary draft flood risk management plan

Overview

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), with input from Local Authorities, is consulting on draft Local Flood Risk Management Plans.

The East Lothian area is covered by the Forth Estuary Local Flood Risk Management Plan. The Plan contains proposals as to how flooding should be managed in the Forth Estuary area. There are a number of Potentially Vulnerable Areas (PVAs) in East Lothian identified in the Plan.
