John Gray Centre Archives and Local History Service Opening Hours

Overview

East Lothian Council is currently reviewing the opening hours of the Archives and Local History service it provides at the John Gray Centre (this review does not cover the Library and Museum services provided at the Centre).

The John Gray Centre has now been open for two and a half years and we are able to consider the pattern of usage of the Archives and Local History service over this period. Whilst both services have been popular with users, we have found that very few people use them during the current Saturday opening times, with an average of just one user on a Saturday.

We plan to change the opening hours and are keen to gather feedback from service users to help to inform these changes.
