Whitehill Avenue Play Park, Musselburgh - Community Engagement
Overview
What new play facilities would you like to see in Whitehill Avenue Play Park, Musselburgh?
East Lothian Council has successfully obtained funding for the enhancement of Play provision at the Whitehill Avenue, Play Park beside Stoneyhill Primary School.
We aim to ensure that the enhanced Whitehill Avenue, Play Park meets local needs, by involving people, particularly children and young people, in its development. This public engagement gives opportunities for a range of play equipment options to be considered and prioritised, which we will aim to deliver within the budget available.
Our primary aim is to provide a challenging, exciting, and inclusive play space for toddlers to teens (age range 0 – 15), with a range of abilities, to play and hang out.
The Enhanced Play Area will feature areas with rubber safety surfacing on the ground, to enhance inclusive and accessible play. We will also take account of the feedback we have already received, including through our recent ‘East Lothian Play Sufficiency Assessment’ public engagement.
Why your views matter
The feedback we receive via this public engagement will help us to ensure that the enhanced Play and Recreational provision at Whitehill Avenue Play Park, Musselburgh will represent local views and meet local needs.

Thank you for taking part in this consultation, we value your contribution and look forward to delivering an enhanced Play Park at Whitehill Avenue, shaped by community feedback.
We look forward to hearing your views!
