New Additional Secondary Education Provision in the Musselburgh Area

Overview

We want to hear your views on the proposed secondary school provision for the Musselburgh area.

• There is significant house building planned for the Musselburgh area.
• To accommodate the increase in the pupil population from the committed and proposed housing in the Musselburgh area, we are proposing to establish a new, second, secondary school in Wallyford that will serve the Pinkie St Peter’s and the proposed revised Wallyford catchment areas.
• The existing Musselburgh Grammar School would continue to serve the pupil population from the Campie, Musselburgh Burgh, Stoneyhill & Whitecraig catchment areas.

Collection boxes for completed questionnaires will also be available at these locations from Friday 6 May.
