Influencing the next South East Scotland Strategic Development Plan (SDP2) – Your Say

Closed 30 May 2014

Opened 18 Apr 2014

Overview

Following the approval of the first Strategic Development Plan (SDP) in 2013, SESplan is now starting to consider the content and shape of SDP2.  Ahead of the preparation of the second Main Issues Report (MIR2), SESplan is seeking your initial views on the vision, aims and priorities for the development of South East Scotland for the next 20 years (to 2038).

MIR2 will set out a series of strategic development options covering issues such as economic growth, housing, energy and transport.  Having your say will influence these options.  A short questionnaire is available for you to complete on the SESplan Consultation Portal via the link below.

The SESplan team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continuing interest in SESplan.  If you have any queries, please contact the SESplan team direct on 0131 524 5165 or email contactus@sesplan.gov.uk

What Happens Next

After the survey closes on 30 May, SESplan will gather all the responses it receives.  It  will then analyse these and use them in preparing the SDP Main Issues Report.  You will be able to comment on the options within it when it is produced in early 2015.
