East Lothian Poverty Commission - Calls for Evidence from Organisations

Overview

About the East Lothian Poverty Commission

The East Lothian Poverty Commission is a group of independent people who are examining what poverty looks like in the county. We have given our time voluntarily to support the work of the Commission because we care about the issue of poverty and how it affects people in our local communities.

Our main task will be to work to identify key actions that local organisations and individuals, working in partnership, can undertake to help people to move out of poverty or lessen its impact on people’s lives. To do this, we are asking local organisations and local people to share their knowledge and experience with us.

Call for Evidence from organisations

We want to know the views of a wide range of organisations and people in the community about poverty, its causes and impacts. We want to hear what local organisations are doing to tackle and alleviate poverty and your ideas for ways in which we can tackle poverty.
