Overview

Amendment to East Lothian Parliamentary Constituency Polling Place Scheme

As a result of the impending closure of Tranent Day Centre within its existing premises at 3 Church Street, Tranent, East Lothian Council is proposing to amend its Polling Place Scheme for the EL4A poling district. The proposal is to use Tranent Town Hall, Church Street, Tranent as a polling place.

Electors within the EL4A polling district are invited to make representations, in writing, on these arrangements. East Lothian Council also welcomes comments from any persons or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability. Any persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as a polling place.

Documents can be viewed under 'Related Documents' below and at East Lothian Council's offices at the George Johnstone Centre, 35 Winton Place, Tranent.
